Conrad V. Sucatre has written
"Old School Romance"
which includes a chapter on Grace. It's a great book about the genre. There are a few errors in the GLH facts, but it's still a very good read.

The Chautauqua Institution
Still in existence today, The Chautauqua Institution was a favorite retreat of both the Livingston and Alden clans. Grace's "A Chautauqua Idyl" was written to earn money for the trip to Chautauqua in New York.
