This is an extremely rare book of short stories. The title story, Susan’s Sheaves, was published as a stand-alone booklet as part of the “Fife and Drum Series” published by The National Temperance Society and Publication House. It was serialized in newspapers and we’ve found it running in The Christian Colonist newspaper published in Adelaide, Australia four years earlier beginning on October 27, 1882.
